GG: What, or who, inspired you to enter the field of work you are in now?
Stephane: Life, my love for soaps, and the fact that I could not find on the market any respectful olive oil soap maker. I had to build what I wanted.
GG: Tell us about your latest projects…what are you working on at the moment?
GG: Tell us something most people don’t know about you?
Stephane: I hate when my ears are hot. Seems stupid but I’ve hated it ever since I was a kid. It’s the only thing I hate, apart from the metal hangers I receive from the dry cleaner! ?
GG: What are some favorite beauty products you cannot live without?
Stephane: To be honest, a real organic olive oil soap like I make. That’s why I did it because I could not find it on the market.
GG: Tell us about you out on the town…any favorite restaurants or boutiques that we should check out?
Stephane: My favorite bar: “Bar Enge,” I feel at home there and always welcomed. It is the only bar in Zürich serving Pilsner Urquell, my favorite beer. For a boutique, it is Obbjekt.
GG: Favorite restaurant/cafe in Zurich?
Stephane: The Muggenbühl, traditional and international cuisine at prices that are fair for Zürich.
GG: How do you keep organized?
Stephane: Hard to tell, Am I? ? I make handwritten lists on a notebook and cross when the action is done.
GG: What is your favorite inspirational quote?
Stephane: “Der Weg hört nie auf!” (The way has no end).
GG: Favorite blogger to follow: food/fashion/news?
Stephane: Best traditional Mexican recipes ever and who I find super nice and funny. I learned a lot about Mexican cuisine thanks to her.
GG: What advice would you give to your younger self?
Stephane: Do not try to do everything on your own. It’s ok to ask for help!
