WOW! Our fingers are typing with excitement as we share the oh so many cool events happening around town this September. It was super hard to narrow down our favorites, but it just had to be done…we sincerely hope you are inspired to discover something new this month!

Zuri Girl’s Top Picks for…

La Dolce Vita. Enjoy a taste of the Italian side of Switzerland as the Ticino Tram circles Zurich landmarks while serving Ticinese favorites such as Bruschetta, Brasato di Manzo and Salami Gran Riserva…perfectly paired with local wine of course.

Girls Night Out. Join us! Continuing on this theme, we’re hosting a fun & educational Italian Wine Tasting led by the sommelier at Steinfels La Maision du Vin.

Rainy Days with Kids. Young explorers discover the exhibition on Swiss Bestiary at the Landesmuseum and on the 17th, kids can have their faces painted as part of the Ich bin auch ein Tier special event.

Cultural Celebration. The Opera House season begins with a fun-filled family friendly day including performances, tours, open rehearsals, hands-on activities and more.

Eat to Live. 150 events over 11 delicious days at FOOD Zurich including truffle hunts, chocolate tastings, hands-on kids courses, street-style festivals, live entertainment and unique events like a refugee pot-luck style meal and how to use the bits and pieces of veggies normally thrown away.

Bookworms. We just learned about this monthly bookswap for english readers taking place at the newly opened Never Stop Reading independent bookshop.

Frugal & Franc Savvy. Fighting against Food Waste, Delish Cafe is offering a 25% discount after 20.00 for 10 days in September.
