Last week, Zuri Girl Caitlin had the opportunity to visit the Dolder Grand for the “Seafood Made in Italy” event where she tasted some of the finest seafood in Switzerland!
The speaker at the event was Antonio Colainni who is well known Italian chef in Switzerland, previously cooking at restaurants Mesa and Clouds and currently at the 14 Gault-Millau point Gustav. He explained to us the high quality of Italian fish, and why it’s beneficial to import from Italy, considering its close proximity to Switzerland. Everyone got a taste of just how fresh Italian fish is with several cooking stations and samples to choose from.
They offered everything from raw seabass, to shrimp with bean puree, mussels in an herb sauce, octopus risotto, sardine crostinis, to every color of Italian wine, and more, thanks to Dörig & Brandl and Caratello Weine.
Take a peek at our pictures from the event, and you might be headed to eat out this weekend and try some Italian fish in one of Zurich’s restaurants!
