What better way to celebrate romance than to escape for a weekend rendezvous to the mountain tops with your sweetheart!

Zuri Girl researched recommendations for every kind of couple and wishes you a wonderful weekend!

For the couple who…

…wants quiet and rejuvenation, Zuri Girl recommends: a visit to Mürren. Mürren is the perfect city to visit when you need a peaceful moment to yourselves. Imagine the stunning beauty of the Swiss Alps with undisturbed silence in this car-free village of 400 residents where everyone knows each other’s names (and also speaks English very well). If ever there is a place where you feel transported back in time to traditional Switzerland and traditional Swiss Alp healing powers, it is in Mürren. Click here for more information.

…wants to ski, Zuri Girl recommends: the 200 kilometers of pistes covering the Jungfrau region. This winter season the entire Jungfrau region has a 2 for 1 couples ski package including cities like Grindelwald-First, Kleine Scheidegg-Männlichen and Mürren-Schilthorn. The package includes: 2 nights in a double hotel room (breakfast included!) plus a 3-day lift pass for the entire Jungfrau Ski Region. If you want to mix it up a bit during your stay, there are also more than 100 kilometers of winter-walking trails and 50 kilometers of toboggan runs waiting to be explored. Click here for more information.

…wants to create that special moment, Zuri Girl recommends: a VIP Gondola Ride in Männlichen as a unique and romantic way to view the Eiger, Mönch & Jungfrau mountains. Sip champagne and nibble on appetizers in a private Gondola ride above the mountains. You’ll never forget the cozy and beautiful experience of this ride between Grindelwald-Grund and the Männlichen summit station. Click here for more information.

…wants to see an amazing mountain view, Zuri Girl recommends: a Helicopter or fixed-wing aircraft ride around the Eiger. You’ll get exclusive access to sights you’ve never seen before as you fly close to the Eiger North and catch breathtaking glimpses into the glaciers. Click here for more information.

… wants an exciting adventure, Zuri Girl recommends: a two-day guided glacier hiking tour in the UNESCO World Heritage region of the Swiss Alps. The Aletsch Glacier hike journeys across the great Aletsch Glacier, which is the longest and largest glacier in Western Europe (it measures in at 23 kilometers long and has a surface area of 80 square kilometers)! The mountain guide takes hikers (who are securely fastened by a cable rope) through the Aletsch Glacier to Konkordiaplatz for an overnight stay at the Konkordia Hut. On the second day hikers pass gigantic glacial crevasses, cross beautiful alpine meadows, and view gorgeous lakes.  Click here for more information.
