Mt. TITLIS is the only accessible glacier in Central Switzerland and very easy to reach from Zürich. We have an update of all the fun summer adventures you can enjoy to get the most out of your visit!
This summer is all about exploring Switzerland on two wheels and Mt. TITLIS is a mountain biker’s paradise. Check out the full list of trails here, and after your fun be sure to take advantage of the free bike washing station next to Titlis Rent in the valley.
Climbing up the mountain is much faster thanks to the TITLIS Xpress. This 8-seater gondola is much faster since 2017, as they renovated the system to bring you up from Engelberg (1000m) to Stand (2450m) in just 20minutes instead of about 35 minutes. At the Trübsee station (1800m), you will find the Titlis Adventure Park which is fun for the entire family. Be sure to try the fun jumping bag that you can enjoy from heights of 3, 4 or 6 meters.
For the adventure seekers, you can enjoy something rather relaxing such as Rowing boats, cruising down the mountain on a Scooter Bike. Alternatively, consider climbing up Via Ferrata or even Bungy Jumping!
The world’s first revolving cable car, the TITLIS Rotair, will transport you from the middle station at Stand (2450m) up to the summit station at 3,020m. Revolving 360 degrees during this five minute trip, you will experience panoramic views high above the steep rock faces, deep crevasses and distant snow-covered peaks.
While up there, you must gather the strength to walk across the highest suspension bridge in Europe, the TITLIS Cliff Walk. The TITLIS Glacier Cave is a 150-metre-long walkway that descends 10 meters below the surface of the glacier and is filled with 5,000 years of ice-cold history. Access to the TITLIS Glacier Park is included in the Ice Flyer ticket and here you will find all kinds of fun activities, such as snow tubing!
Put a cherry on top of your TITLIS experience by enjoying lunch at the newly renovated restaurant on the second floor complete with with an international self-service restaurant, an à la carte restaurant with Swiss specialties & homemade Pizza.
