Tout ira bien ”, can be seen in the Musée des Beaux-Arts in Lausanne, on which Llach with the Prix du Jury Accrochage 2009 was awarded.
Llach masters the visual vocabulary of cliched feminine attributes and devotes itself exclusively to the representation of the feminine – result are idiosyncratically painted and expressive portraits of women in acrylic paint on paper. She finds her inspiration in Fashion magazines, books, advertising shots and picture finds from art history and broadcasts these images in their works in a new context – they are combined, alienated or even divided. Through a skillfully subtle play with the lighting and a staging of the depicted figures in a stage-like space give Llach’s works a surreal character.
