We love iconic Parisian style: trendy, feminine, and easy to wear. Corner Parisien is the place for you!  We caught up with Elsa Kahan, the creative mind behind Corner Parisien, to find out more about her and her brand.

There are many Swiss Fashion Designers that are so incredibly creative, modern and passionate. We aim to dig deeper, beyond their designs and into the minds and hearts of what inspires them to dedicate their lives to their brand. Join us on a journey of discovering all things fashionably Swiss…allow us to introduce you to Corner Parisien!

GG: Tell us about your brand name?
Corner Parisien: I am a real parisian and I wanted that our brand’s style would be reflected in the name, but it also lets everyone imagine what is “parisian style” and what our customers can find in our e-shop.

GG: Tell us about the logo?
Corner Parisien: Well a year and half ago I started to think about Corner Parisien. I spent so many days and NIGHTS thinking about the concept, the name and the logo, so it easily came to me to add “corner” to the logo!

GG: How would you describe your designs?
Corner Parisien: Trendy, limited, easy to wear, feminine, PARISIAN.

GG: Where are most of your items produced?
Corner Parisien: Designed between Paris, London and Zurich, where I live, and produced in China & Morocco.

GG: What is your earliest memory of being inspired by fashion?
Corner Parisien: Last night in my dream!

GG: What is your fashion influence? Travel? People? Fashion Weeks?
Corner Parisien: I have to admit that I have a big crush on Isabel Marant, she is an inspiration for women in real life who are, “walking down the street or zipping off on a scooter.”  Last summer’s collection was highly inspired by the bohemian style and my several trips to Morocco.

GG: What is your favorite piece you ever designed?
Corner Parisien: The first one, a Bomber in cotton with embroidered flowers on the front !

GG: What are your favorite fabrics/textures?
Corner Parisien: Cotton and Linen

GG: Where do you source your fabrics and where are your fashions produced?
Corner Parisien: My parents have a textile factory in Morocco. They are an added value to my work and thanks to them I have access to many fabrics.

GG: Can you give some fashion advice to our readers?
Corner Parisien: Don’t take life too serious !
