With the temperature ideal for being outdoors and the sun shining late into the evening hours, why not grab a few girlfriends and tour the Public Art Festival, ART AND THE CITY. This outdoor exhibition showcasding 40 international artists is sprawling across the Zurich West neighborhood in the form of sculptures, installations, performances, posters and interventions.

The exhibition is created to educate and share how this trendy neighborhood is rapidly changing – taking a look at its history, progress and unique spaces by highlighting artists who focus on urban living.

This week, on Saturday the 7th, there is a free 90-minute tour, conducted in German, at 14.00.  It’s a great opportunity to practice your German, but if that is a bit too scarey there will also be events, in English, on 25 August and 23 September so mark your
calendar or register here.

ART AND THE CITY is a great excuse to spend a few hours outdoors, learning about the wonderful city of Zurich. And…of course…in Zuri Girl style, we highly reccomend a few cocktail stops along the way! Enjoy.
