Be a tourist in your city this season (while entertaining the family who’s in town visiting!) and learn of all the magical wonders behind Christmas in Zurich. The tourism bureau has created a special tour beginning on the 14th of December at 16.30 highlighting the splendor and history behind the markets, the attractions and the delights. We’ve always wondered where all the unique hand-made crafts can be found at the markets… this tour is sure to answer that and more!
Begin at Zurich’s Hauptbahnhof and become dazzled at the beautiful Swarovski Christmas Tree while learning the outstanding facts behind this annual attraction. Your tour guide will then begin the walk down the romantically illuminated Bahnhofstrassse where your group will no doubtedly stop for a cup of hot punch or Glühwein and some infamous Triggel to nosh on while listening to the adorable santa hats keeping little heads warm – while singing their hearts out at the Singing Christmas Tree!
