August is by far the most puzzling month of the year, especially in Zurich! With temperatures on the decline, school about to start again, and a forecast drizzled with rain, it may be hard to find that “perfect thing do to.” But have no fear, there’s still plenty on the agenda. National Swiss Day… We hope you all had a wonderful Swiss National Day barbecuing in the park, soaking in the sun and dancing under the fireworks!
Get Out and Dance… Did you know that Zurich Street Parade is in fact the worlds largest Techno Parade? On 11 August you are either in two camps…those that avoid downtown, or those that dive right into the middle of the action! Electronic sounds will make the city vibrate and hundreds of thousands of people will be dancing in the streets…and by Monday morning, you’ll never know what happened because the streets will be sparkling clean.
It Wouldn’t be Summer in Zurich without… Zürcher Theater Spektakel! 13 stages and over 40 current theater productions from all over the world in just 18 days beginning on 16.8. You shouldn’t miss this one!
