Roméo Rodin is a Zürich based French-Swiss luxury shoes & accessories brand founded by Joanne Padachtpour in September 2017.
There are many Swiss Fashion Designers that are so incredibly creative, modern and passionate. We aim to dig deeper, beyond their designs and into the minds and hearts of what inspires them to dedicate their lives to their brand. Join us on a journey of discovering all things fashionably Swiss…allow us to introduce you to Roméo Rodin.
GG: Tell us about your brand name?
Roméo Rodin: Roméo is the name of our child, it is romantic and timeless. Rodin was a French sculptor, the father of Modern sculpture. There is an essential part of the shoes making process: the last: It is the solid form upon which the shoe is constructed. Traditionally, the lasts are sculpted in hardwoods, such as Maple.
GG: Tell us about the logo?
Roméo Rodin: Roméo Rodin logo represents the brand two initials: RR, and has the shape of a diamond which reflects our brand core values: elegant design, excellence in the choice of the materials, careful devotion to the most intricate detail and a continuous search for perfection.

Roméo Rodin: I have a “coup de coeur” for the back Marie-Antoinette shoe model, it is extremely elegant and sexy.
