She gives us a taste of Paris without actually traveling there with her brand, Corner Parisien.
Elsa Kahan, a real Parisian and the creator behind Corner Parisien, was raised in the fashion epicenter of downtown Paris. Her motto though? “Have fun without breaking the bank.” Elsa gives us comfort and style, all with a French twist! Perfect for the ladies in Switzerland who are on a quest add some more european fashion to their wardrobes!
GG: What, or who, inspired you to enter the field of work you are in now?
Elsa: Raised up in the world of fashion, I had only one thing in mind, build my own world and discover another vision of fashion. My thing: to have fun without breaking the bank. After moving to Switzerland, and a previous bank career, I decided to write my own story. That’s how Corner Parisien was born: a personal need and a desire to discover something else.
GG: Tell us about your latest projects…what are you working on at the moment?
Elsa: I moved to London about five months ago (no worries Corner Parisien is still a swiss online concept store!) London is a stunning city where I easily find lots of inspiration to create! It is a new step for my brand…become an international one!
GG: Tell us something most people don’t know about you?
Elsa: I spend 90% of my time in a comfy sweater !
GG: What are some favorite beauty products you cannot live without?
Elsa: Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado by KIEHL’S and Face & Body Cleansing Gel Rêve de Miel by Nuxe.
GG: Tell us about you out on the town…any favorite restaurants or boutiques that we should check out?
Elsa: Without hesitation: TROIS POMMES. I dream about every single item in this boutique! Also, I love meeting my friends at the Modissa Rooftop on Bahnhofstrasse.
GG: How do you keep organized?
Elsa: Well, with thousands of To-Do-Lists!
GG: What is your favorite inspirational quote?
Elsa: “The best way to predict your future is to create it.”
GG: Favorite blogger to follow: food/fashion/news?
Elsa: I had the honor in collaborating with Michele Krusi (thefashionfraction) and Elvira Abasova and they are STUNNING, you should absolutely follow them!
GG: What advice would you give to your younger self?
Elsa: Don’t give up on your dreams.
