Ona Poké

We are in love with the new Ona Poké and trust us, you will be too! The famous Hawaiian poké bowl has swept through California, New York…and finally make it here to Zurich for us to indulge in this simply perfect culinary delight guilt free. Here is why we LOVE Ona Poké…

The Beautifully Delicious Food:
Here is how is works: Decide if you would like to enjoy a small bowl (CHF 19.50-30.50) or regular size (CHF 21.50-32.50) and if you would like to build your own bowl or enjoy one of their signature creations (Salmon, Tuna or “Bad Fisherman” Tofu). We highly recommend building your own bowl, because once they start building your signature creation, you will start to see ingredients you want to add…(we know from experience!)

  • Choose your Base: white rice, black rice, quinoa or zucchini noodles
  • Pick your Protein: Salmon, Tuna, Kingfish or Tofu
  • Select your Sauce: Asia, Sweet Soy, Sesame Yuzu, Spicy Mayo or Teriyaki
  • Top it off with 3 selections: Avocado, Mango, Ginger, Roe, Edamame, Pomegranate, Wakame Salad, Cilantro, or Seasonal Specials (ranging from Papaya to Sweet Potato)

The Ambiance:
We love the shabby chic interior decor of Ona Poké. From the outside, you do not know what to expect, but once inside, you are greeted by a coffee bar featuring Black & Blaze roasted coffee  and the beautiful buffet of ingredients for you to choose from. The line will be out the door during the lunch rush hour, so be sure to visit during off peak times to enjoy the beautiful ambiance without feeling rushed to give up your seat to someone who needs to get back to the office. There is also a take-away window with pre-made bowls for you to enjoy in the sunshine.

The Refreshments:
In addition to the coffee selection, the fruit infused waters, homemade ice teas and Ginger Shots are the perfect accompaniment to your meal. Not only will you leave feeling nourished and refreshed, but you will have great new ideas to make at home…grapefruit and rosemary is a unique combination that goes so well together. There is also a nice wine and cocktail selection…white wine always pairs nicely with fish!

There’s More…
Not only is Ona Poké our new favorite stop for lunch (and dinner!) but it’s the perfect breakfast spot as well. There are 4 Acai Bowls to choose from (2 Raw and 2 mixed with yogurt). Paired with a croissant and coffee, it’s breakfast for champions.
