Film Implosion

Zurich West delivers again for a creative and cultural afternoon! Museum Fur Gestaltung Toni-Areal’s “Film Implosion” gives you the chance to take a time trip into the radical creativity of Swiss Filmmaking from the 60’s to 80’s.

See the early work of Piplotti Rist now famous for her huge luscious provocative pieces. Wonder what famous artist performer Dieter Meier (Yello) was experimenting with then and how Fredi M. Murer (Vitus) started out and the rich film innovation began. There are films that have never or rarely been seen before.

It’s a visual feast. Watch out for the cow. We recommend popping across the hall for a coffee or lunch (food’s great), give your senses a rest then come back for more.

Tired of the same old selfie piece signs…Give yourself a few radical ideas for your next Instamovie!

Zuri Girl Tip: Great workshops on the calendar. We’re looking forward to:

Scratch-it-up, a material movie workshop on 4 March at 14.00.
