Despite all this, we know it’s cold…we know it’s gray, but please oh please do not dismay. Zuri Girl has created an A to Z guide to beat the inevitable winter blues. Go ahead – give them a try. You will not be able to resist smiling!

B…Bargain shop for vintage goodies. Vintage is a fairly universal term, but also look for shops marked “Brocki” which isn’t always vintage, but always second-hand.

D…Dive into a good book. Join your local library – it’s franc savvy free.

E…Entertain yourself and book in at the next International Comedy Club performance in your city. They host hilarious comedy shows in Geneva, Lausanne, Basel and Zürich.

F…Forget its winter. Head to the indoor water park, Alpamare in Pfäffikon.

N…Nourish your body. Visit a nearby Spa or venture outside Zurich to one of our favorite Hammams, like the Spa Oktogon Bern or Aquabasilina Hammam near Basel.

O…Open your mind. Hop on a tram you don’t ride regularly and explore a new neighborhood from the comfort of a warm ride.

Q…Quit that bad habit you’ve been wanting to push aside. Enough’s enough – just stop already.
