On Tuesday we were invited to the gallery SOON in Zurich to the photo exhibition “Surprising Turkey”. It’s an exhibition by the Cultural and Tourism Office Turkey. They want to show us their country – from another side –not just the city trip to Istanbul or maybe a beach holiday in Antalya.
Turkey is much more than that. And boy it is, some of the photos – like the amazing landscape of Cappadocia, from a balloon! Of course cups of Turkish coffee, more beautiful coastline and mountains for exploring along with gorgeous little cafes and bright colourful marketplaces.
We were treated to delectable Turkish food and music while immersing in the photo-exhibition “Surprising Turkey” showing from the eyes of nine media workers, bloggers and photographers their shots from the fascinating country, a warm welcoming Turkey.
Like Oscar Wilde says: “Travel improves the mind and abolishes prejudices.”
Zuri Girl Tip: Be well informed – just because the news is full of stories, check for yourself about traveling on a site like this or your country’s version . . .
